The short version

ez-timezone works without accounts, sign-ups, or personal data. The time zones you select and the times you compare stay on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information.

Website

All timezone calculations happen in your browser. Your selected zones and preferences are kept in your browser's local storage and in shareable URLs that you create yourself. We use privacy- friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to count anonymous page views — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.

Browser extension

The ez-timezone Chrome extension stores your selected time zones using your browser's built-in sync storage (chrome.storage.sync), which is managed by your browser and your Google account — we never see it. The extension does not collect analytics, does not read your browsing activity, and requests no permissions beyond storage.

Payments

If you purchase ez-timezone Pro, checkout and payment are handled by our merchant of record. We receive only what is needed to validate your license key — never your card details. Your license key is stored locally on your device.

Third-party services

The website embeds a feedback form (Tally) and an interactive demo (Supademo), which load only when you interact with them and are governed by their own privacy policies. Country flag images are served from a public CDN (jsDelivr).
